Mimosa

Mimosa reminds me of Sunday brunch, outside on the street in New York. Bright, sparkly, citrus, the sounds of yellow cabs and sitting on Prince street. I do not wear it just on a Sunday, but everyday. It’s a wonderful, uplifting scent that gives me the most wonderful mindset, and looking forward to another Saturday.

I shouldn’t like this scent since it doesn’t have the usual notes I go for, but I find it summery without it being obviously so. It comforts and uplifts me, taking me back to happy memories of a honeymoon in Crete. I’m delighted I was still able to buy it years after getting a sample!

Mimosa is a lighter, more fun fragrance than my usual choices. This is the one that I prefer for a day out and about, the one that I use to add sunshine to the day. As a woman of a certain age, this one is reminiscent of more youthful choices (bright florals and fruit notes), but mature enough to still have on if you have a business lunch to attend to, between fun outings. Absolutely recommended for the spring and summer seasons, as well as days that you just want to feel a bit brighter!
